2012 marked our first year hosting Celebrate Samhain in the new Peterborough Community Center, and we were overwhelmed by the positive response from attendees and vendors alike. Though the facility was still undergoing renovations, we could hardly have imagined a better venue for our growing festival and are working to improve further upon things for this year.

As in years past, the generosity of attendees was heartening. In keeping with the spirit of the "final harvest", Celebrate Samhain raised another record donation of non-perishable food items for the Peterborough Food Pantry (which provides food for over 300 families per month). Our thanks to everyone for your continued support!

This year's 8th annual Celebrate Samhain proudly welcomes Dorothy Morrison, author, and Wiccan High Priestess of the Georgian Tradition as Featured Speaker. Special guests include NH's own award-winning author and Founder of the Temple of Witchcraft, Christopher Penczak; noted authors and Pagan Elders, Raven and Stephanie Grimassi; author and renowned "Kitchen Witch" Dawn Hunt of Cucina Aurora, perennial favorites, Frenchy & the Punk, and the enchanting Holly Brewer, lead vocalist for The Folks Below.

This Year's Event:
Saturday, October 19th, 2013 10 AM - 6 PM
Peterborough Community Center, 25 Elm St., Peterborough, NH

Celebrate Samhain is New England's premier Samhain festival dedicated to the ancient Celtic celebration of the final harvest and "day of the dead".

Filled with magic, music, crafts, and merriment, Celebrate Samhain offers something for everyone... Be entranced by the music of a gypsy troupe; browse the wares of mystical vendors; learn something new in a variety of free talks and workshops; make and take home your own magical crafts; enlist a reading by a gifted intuitive; indulge in sumptuous harvest fare; and observe the ancient Celtic holiday of Samhain in a traditional, earth-centered ceremony that honors our ancestors and those who have gone on before.

Celebrate Samhain &ndash a festival commemorating the origins of Halloween &ndash seeks to provide a fun and enlightening experience for the whole community. This year's event helps support local area food banks.

Admission for the entire day is only $8 per person with a donation of a non-perishable food item. $10 without donation. Under 10 with an accompanying adult is free. Admission includes entry to all workshops, musical performances, vendor halls, and closing ritual.
